I sat around all day talking to people and not freaking out. I only left the room at one point to check my email but it wasn't because I wanted to be away from people at all. This is pretty impressive. It pleases me.

Had a great time watching Russell Brand and eating curry and drinking tea. People liked my Market Spice tea, YAY! I thoroughly enjoyed myself :D

I have been getting so many emails trying to get me to send them information and they will send me 450,000 USD or something ridiculous. One person claimed to be a bank manager but their email address was something@arsenalsupporter.co.uk

ARSENAL SUPPORTER?! At least TRY, dude. Don't send me a scam email from your footy fan email address and expect me to believe you. My stars and garters, people are stupid.

Alison was supposed to go to bed but she just came out here to get a drink and there is no way that we could possibly ever explain the conversation that just occurred between us, but it was epic hilarity though it was the kind where you had to be there and now my stomach hurts from laughing. It was pure ridiculousness and we both laughed so hard, and I feel like I might vomit.

And then I thought, "you know what? I think I feel like this at least once a day." I think living in a house where you laugh so hard you think you might vomit at least once a day is pretty damn awesome, no matter what else is going on in my messed up little world.

Long live the LFoD and all it's denizens, past and present!

My head hurts from laughing.

I was feeling down today (LONG story) so I decided to do something constructive to take the feeling away (social work training, oy) so I wanted to make a post of all the photos of people and places and things that mean something to me. And when I started to plan it, I realised just how long it would be if I put everyone into it. And that made me feel so amazing, you have no idea...

I did it anyway deciding I would only use photos I have taken myself (or by my family since I wasn't at the reunion to take those and I didn't take the ones of me as a kid, but you get the point!) to cut down on spamming random Hugh Jackman pictures ;). Not everyone that should be here is including my friends in Australia. Woot, Peter, Laura and Ness, I have no (not blurry) photos of you!! And there are other friends who aren't on here, but be that as it may, here it is. Some of my happy things.

We're listening to Abney Park playing Little Drummer Boy, which is awesome and hilarious. Ali is cooking and Leah's potatoes are baking. Lewi is here and we spent the afternoon watching Lord of the Rings in 60 minutes which is great fun starring my friends when they were teensy! And I cuddled a Simbacat and he purred so loudly it was slightly disconcerting :D

And then I learned that if you don't touch your flute in two years you forget how to play it ;) BUT I can learn again (much to the annoyance of my housemates I'm sure!)

Hera on Saturday was beautiful and she gave us hugs and we gave her chocolate and Leah got to request two songs and she dedicated her last song to us :D I LOVE her she's so freaking cute!

And Lewi is awesome :D

Wellington was awesome, even though we did arrive to a blustery day! While walking to the hostel, rain started dumping down with little warning and wind whipped up and that was a little startling. We got to the hostel and it was awesome but there was a crawlspace up near the ceiling which was a little alarming…

I am back in Australia and once again I cannot breathe. Had an attack LITERALLY the second I stepped off the plane. I didn't have a SINGLE problem in Christchurch if you don't count the attack triggered by the Twigging Smoking Girl and that doesn't count because it could have happened anywhere. SO. Clearly Australia is like "Okay, go away now." :P.

And now I paraphrase rip Circe off directly (Thanks, Cath!) We had Mexican Cafe times, showed her the entirely of The Mighty Boosh, lay in the Gardens and dozed in the sun, shopped for sensible grown up house things, jumped all over beds that didn't belong to us, consumed our weight in popcorn, and failed to find a coffee maker that suited our requirements.

Indeed we did. Indeed we did. I put one of the beds on lay by, which made me feel all grown up GO ME. And that nap in the sun was a delicious three-way snuggle of wonder. Which made tourists gape.

And now I am roasting in the stupid heat and pining for my girlies of LOVE!
