Feeling energetic enough to write but no one is around. WOE. Clearly I shall solve this by updating most of my Strays characters and refreshing to see if I get replies until I eventually fall asleep! Stupid random!energy. I got so tired after changing my sheets and making my bed today that I had to take a nap.

In summary, chronic fatigue sucks and I wish I could like hear back from the damn hospital about what step to take next but being on the waiting list does mean waiting. HUMPH.

BUT. The guy who is fixing my computer finally got the new LCD panel he was waiting for and so now he can install it and make sure it works. He says I should have my computer by Monday. Which OH MY GOD, REALLY?! YAY YAY YAY! I can go back on AIM and type without having to fix every second word!

You guys. I can play Sims. ;)

Birthday party with a 3-D TARDIS cake is awesome! This entire year was a Doctor Who year. I got a pen with a floating TARDIS, a TARDIS mug and a sonic screwdriver flashlight. The ninth/tenth doctor's of course. While Three is my favourite, his sonic screwdriver was this weird thing with red and yellow bits and it whirled and I did not love it. And Eleven's is wanky-doodle-dandy.

The most impressive part of this though is that I just lasted from 7-11pm at a party. Being social. And I have only retired to my room because I am tired now. But I talked and I was SO charming. Hurrah!

TARDIS cake!

(All my Doctor Who icons have been deactivated because my subscription to extra userpics ran out dammit!)

I had energy yesterday so I cleaned my room and did dishes and shopping (twice!) and then I was social with people who came over.

Today I am paying for it because I have spent the entire day in bed sleeping on and off. I am still so tired I could sleep more but I just had a 4 hour nap after being awake only for an hour after the two hour nap I took before that.

I regret nothing though. My room makes me so happy. It's gorgeous and it's mine and I love it. I still have to dust and vacuum before I put the rug I ordered in, but it looks so good anyway. It's the little things! ;)

I got black curtains and put them up so I could finally say goodbye to the pink ones. Ness can have her curtains back! Though really we should wash those...

But YAY BLACK CURTAINS! They are JUST long enough to reach the windowsill but hush! I love them :D And they look amazing with my purple lights over them. I also bought a very cheap but very nice shirt (we were at the warehouse, this entire purchase was pretty darn cheap) and the shirt not only suits me, but I look hot in it.

SO HAH! THINGS ARE AWESOME!

Other things in the list of awesome that is today? Watching movies with my Leah, and Dirty Life coming back. I am going to write some Nicholas and Hannah SO hardcore! Eeeiiiii!

Finally finished all the Doctor Who though there is a new one on Christmas day. But then after that I have to wait for the new series at the end of 2012. And then I decided to watch David Tennant's video diaries of his last days on set and he's so emotional and that wasn't a brilliant idea. I feel a bit bereft which is ridiculous. Ah, first world problems. It just fills me with such nostalgia to watch, and the new series was brought back to life so well. I love that instead of restarting it, they continued it on. Makes me ridiculously happy, even when I am not fond of certain characters, or I a goggling over a story line. Or Mark freaking Gatiss has to write an episode where dolls stalk you. *shudder*

Oh, and I have decided that I will forgive the show for revealing the Doctor's name (though I don't think they will) if it is Stormageddon. But only in that instance. Stormy+Doctor=OTPP.

Tomorrow my mother and I are finishing Christmas shopping. I learned to crochet today too! In like...twenty minutes! But it hurts my hands so I couldn't do it for long. Still, I managed to help make a scarf for my niece and that is AWESOME. And speaking of my niece, my sister's family will be here on Thursday night and I am SO EXCITED! I can't wait eeeiiiii!

We also went to see my other niece's choir concert today and it was lovely. Though they sang Cat's in the Cradle. Which is just mean! Darn sentimental songs.

EDIT: THEY CHANGED THE COMMENTS AND I DON'T LIKE IT! Dammit, LJ, stop changing things!

Couldn't sleep so I watched Fright Night, the new re-make with David Tennant and Anton Yelchin. And it was...like, the BEST movie I have seen in a long time. Granted it's a movie about vampires, so it's not a masterpiece like The King's Speech, but it was fantastic. And David Tennant was so UNF in it. And I could fangirl for a very long time. Instead I'll shut up. ...shortly.

But seriously, if you like vampire flicks or David Tennant or Anton Yelchin, watch it. It's awesome. Also David Tennant talks about his chaffed crotch in it. Hehhehehehheheehehe chaffed! Ahem. Leather yum.

I need icons stat! Have Bruce Campbell instead. He has nothing to do with the movie but his chin is large because he couldn't contain all his awesome in his face otherwise.

Ocicat Breed temperament

Ocicats are a very outgoing breed. They are often considered to have the spirit of a dog in a cat's body. Most can easily be trained to fetch, walk on a leash and harness, come when called, speak, sit, lie down on command and a large array of other dog-related tricks. Most are especially good at feline agility because they are very toy-driven. Some even take readily to the water. Ocicats are also very friendly and sociable. They will typically march straight up to strangers and announce that they'd like to be petted. This makes them great family pets, and most can also get along well with animals of other species, although they are likely to assert their dominance over all involved. Ocicats make excellent pets for people who want to spend a lot of time with their cat, but they do require more attention than cats who aren't so people-oriented.

Yeah, this exactly describes my Echo-baby. Right down to the fetching. We were discussing how she was a dog this weekend. Now I totally want to get her a harness and walk her around so people will be like O_O!!

This is basically exactly her. It pleases me immensely.

So. After the last entry I accidentally fell asleep watching QI. Hurrr. BUT I am awake now (I know, right, I'm not sleep-typing, I bet you didn't guess that!) and actually have energy again. So I was dancing around the living room, singing opera metal.

Yep. I know how to have fun. The cats did not enjoy it. Their ears are still back.

Tomorrow I am getting up and noon and going shopping, I don't even care if I don't fall asleep until 11 am because I only just woke up at like 7. I am making myself leave this house and do things. Besides, I really want more Sweet lollipops. And also poptarts. And dumplings with soy sauce. And I need chocolate chips and cream cheese for the banana cake with cream cheese icing I am making. And I just ate an quarter of an apple pie and drank some coffee with whole cream milk and sugar. The sugar was regular sugar, not whole cream sugar. And I had curry with coconut cream in it.

How in the WORLD was my cholesterol at incredibly healthy levels?! I will never know, dude. But hey, an excuse to eat more crap, yay! (That isn't technically what that means, is it?!)

Also I am getting a pretty pill box for my meds because if I have to take pills to make my brain function right, I am keeping them in a pretty thing. So there. They have gorgeous ones on eBay for about $7.50 USD. And golly gee, I have USD in my US bank account. And shipping to NZ is quite cheap. This will also mean I have my meds WITH me instead of leaving them in my nightstand which is crap when I forget to take them.

And I decided to start to learn both ASL and NZSL. Because it shouldn't be someone else's problem that I can't understand them when they are communicating with me and having a basic understanding of sign language will be handy when working with some clients, I am sure. I found sites for ASL and NZSL and when I have a basic understanding, I might look for cheap NZSL classes after I get back from the US. It is a little more difficult for me to do it because my hands shake. But if I can play the flute, I can do this too. But that's why I am taking the time to get the hang of it BEFORE taking classes for the realsies. I can now do the fingerspell alphabet in both. The NZSL one is so much easier, omfg. Well it's easier for shaky hands since you use two hands for most letters instead of one. Praise my awesome memory because I am actually getting this.

The results of my second blood test showed no long-term problems (and that I have good cholesterol, who knew!?) so it's post-viral fatigue for sure. Then my doctor said "I know you're incredibly pale, but sometimes going out in the sun can help" and I gave her a Look. Instead she prescribed me Vitamin D (my doctor is an enabler!) which I suspect might actually have been speed.

She did warn me that the first few days after taking the high dose Vitamin D, I might feel like I had energy and not to overdo it. I didn't believe her...

Today I cleaned the house and the kitchen and did the dishes and wrote yet another four scenes and made a bunch of icons I have been stalling on, and I collected sources for my next assignment and started mapping it out. That's more than I have done in a day since May. I am now sure that the reason I felt inspired and wrote so much yesterday is simply because the energy gave me the mental facilities to handle it when I was using most of my brain to just deal with being awake before.

Of course I probably overdid it because I'm like that, but I just felt so awesome and didn't want to waste it! I didn't realise I actually completely forgot what energy felt like. It's kind of impressive.

Helios just grabbed the package of cat treats off the side table and ran out of the room with them so I'd better go catch him! :D

My MOTHER sent me this link to a Tim Minchin interview here on NPR. Apparently my Aunt heard it and couldn't stop laughing at how adorable he is and she called my mother to tell her she had heard that comedian I loved and she needed to tell me.

My family is so freaking awesome, I swear.
