I was feeling down today (LONG story) so I decided to do something constructive to take the feeling away (social work training, oy) so I wanted to make a post of all the photos of people and places and things that mean something to me. And when I started to plan it, I realised just how long it would be if I put everyone into it. And that made me feel so amazing, you have no idea...

I did it anyway deciding I would only use photos I have taken myself (or by my family since I wasn't at the reunion to take those and I didn't take the ones of me as a kid, but you get the point!) to cut down on spamming random Hugh Jackman pictures ;). Not everyone that should be here is including my friends in Australia. Woot, Peter, Laura and Ness, I have no (not blurry) photos of you!! And there are other friends who aren't on here, but be that as it may, here it is. Some of my happy things.

You know what I love? Looking 'Wiener Neustadt' up on Wikipedia so I could see where it was, and reading the following:

And knowing exactly what it is talking about. Every bit of it. My University degree is about as useful as toilet paper (which..technically, is pretty useful but only for one purpose...) but damn do I know random crap, thanks to the history component of having a Bachelor of Arts-German Language and Literature major. Like who Leopold V was. And, for that matter, who the Babenbergs were. And the Hapsburgs. Who I know were not mentioned, but they made an empire through marriage instead of killing (though they did that too). Marie Antionette was a Hapsburg! Her mother, Maria Theresia was Empress of Austria for 40 years (exactly) and she had 49729475312 babies most of whom died as kids though the ones that didn't married all over. AND the child Mozart performed for her and she adored him.

And don't get me started on Empress Elisabeth because I can go on all day. The paper I wrote on her got me my very own 98% in a unit, as the paper was the only thing graded in that unit. She's fascinating.

And, back on Richard the Lionheart, the castle in Dürnstein is along the Danube and we stopped there on our way back to Vienna from Melk. And our teacher told us the (fake) tale of the minstrel who came to sing under Richard's window, and that's how they discovered where he was. Ah, legends. So I found it on the web here.

History is my crack for SRS. But I cannot for the life of me remember the word for 'minstrel' in German, but I remember I liked the word! MY LANGUAGE SKILLS HAVE FAILED ME!

Yeah so I found the book. It was in my backpack hiding in a newspaper. DAMN YOU, NEWSPAPER!!!! I felt really silly when I saw that. And I still feel like crap. Blah. I wonder what it is. Maybe Karma! :O It's still snowing here, and I'm kinda ready for it to be spring now. But we (Jayann and I) took some video tape of the blizzard to send to Lewi lol. We found it hilarious though I don't know if he will ;). And then Jayann taped me petting the cat and watching some stupid special on VHS about Bubblegum Pop. More accurately...SHE was watching the special and I was just sitting there being victimized. And she zoomed the camera in on Britney Spears, but then kindly averted it to spare Lewi's precious eyes. And then she filmed herself eating some bread. Yeah that was interesting. And now I am stalling rather than reading a chapter in my book. I actually do like the book though. This studying thing is fun :D

I finally finished a paper that's been driving me crazy for a week!!! Mostly because I don't have the book I'm supposed to be writing it on...go figure ;) I still feel a bit like crap, but what can ya do. I finished my paper, my cat is asleep on top of my laundry and it's damn adorable, I am talking to My Lewi. Life is good :) I still have to go to the bank. Damn you money! ;) And I have to send stuff to my mom and to Rosie. I hate having errands, because I always plan them out to the last minute detail and it's sad because they don't take much planning...but that's what I do, lol. Anyway it's almost time for me to work once again. Have to earn money for the strip show tomorrow (yes...Lara is going to a strip show....yes Lara is going to wear a bag on her head) Ta-ta!

Ok I don't hate Martin Luther anymore...now I hate laundry lol. Stupid laundry that takes forever to do and all it does is go round and round and you get bored! At least Jayann will be bored with me! Ok...now I am all caffinated and hyper yet still cranky. It's an odd mix ;) But at least I'm done with Marint Luther!!!! MUUUUAHAHAHAHAHAAA :D Dammit...laundry calls. Bye ;)

Yes...Yes I do. I am trying to write a paper on the reformation of the church and all I can think about is how much Martin Luther really did look like a Bullfrog. Well....that and How much I really wish that I were with Lewi right now lol. Stupid peasant's revolt!!! Yeah ok so I can't really blame them for being cranky and all but why do I have to write about it! Blah. Whining about it though, I am enjoying that. ;) But I guess I should go do it *grumbles* It's not like I can sleep anyway. I'm too hyper lol. I do wish I had some cake...ooh! I found a ten dollar bill! Hello laundry!
