My brother randomly came through town today to drop his dog Loki off here so we can dogsit for a few days. So I was woken up with "COME HUG YOUR BROTHER" and then my mother took me shopping for hours.

We wet to Wal-Mart where they were selling guns in plastic packages. They had pink ones. You know. Fer them gals. Bitches like pink. I couldn't believe it. I want to take my camera and take photos so I can show my NZ friends the glory that is the sporting section. <---Sarcasm. Also there was someone parked in the lot with a vanity plate that said "Ma Cow". So yep. I'm in Montana now. YEE YAW.

We also went to the store my niece works at so we could get a turkey for Racism Day (my mother had to listen to my ranting all day long, wheee) It was nice to see her! She's so grown up. I remember when she was 3. /old lady

And that's it. Being with my parents is awesome though. They're both lovely and hilarious. Even if Loki seems convinced I am some kind of alien and every time I move he growls. It has to be the hair. Don't hate on fake gingers, Loki. Are you some kind of dog-racist?! He doesn't mind me when I'm throwing a tennis ball for him. Just when I am hanging out inside. Le sigh.

Also, in Wal-Mart, my mother said "I have to get some balls for the dog. He needs some balls" And I couldn't stop laughing. She was generous enough to sigh and then ignore it instead of scolding me! Ah, love!

EDIT: Fixed my email inbox finally. Turns out I accidentally blocked the images mail uses to run with AdBlock when I was trying to block an ad on the side of it. LOLwhoops. I am so smrt. At least I figured it out!

Watched Tim Minchin's Enough Rope interview on Youtube. It's in 3 parts (the first part is here if you are interested and the other parts you can get to on the side menu) and he is adorbs when he talks about his wife. "Sarah's nice, I like her". His views on religion are much like my brother's too. They do seem really alike in their wit, which makes me adore Tim all the more.

ANYWAY then I had banana cake that Laura made. And then this happened because Laura and Leah are watching The Fifth Element.

Me: "GARY OLDMANNNN! It's okay he's annoying in this movie."
Laura: "He's in this movie? Who is he?"
Me: "The bad guy."
Laura: "...I thought Gary Oldman was short. And black."
Leah: "...that's Gary Colman"

Cue me nearly choking on my cake.

I did my family for this part, since I know people who read this who get absolute anxiety attacks over these particular memes and I won't do that to them. Only three people reading these are on here, one is my sister and the other two I live with. If you are reading this at ALL, I love you!

Beware. I am totally honest and mushy when it comes to how I feel about people (well 9 out of 10) because I am part Care Bear. And sometimes it makes people go O_O.

My family is so awesome, I don't even know what to do with myself.

I was feeling down today (LONG story) so I decided to do something constructive to take the feeling away (social work training, oy) so I wanted to make a post of all the photos of people and places and things that mean something to me. And when I started to plan it, I realised just how long it would be if I put everyone into it. And that made me feel so amazing, you have no idea...

I did it anyway deciding I would only use photos I have taken myself (or by my family since I wasn't at the reunion to take those and I didn't take the ones of me as a kid, but you get the point!) to cut down on spamming random Hugh Jackman pictures ;). Not everyone that should be here is including my friends in Australia. Woot, Peter, Laura and Ness, I have no (not blurry) photos of you!! And there are other friends who aren't on here, but be that as it may, here it is. Some of my happy things.

I am surrounded by people singing Lady Gaga. Jayann and Malik are sorting through Magic Cards and singing while I burn CDs. It's hilarious. And my little brother came to visit last night which was awesome. Boy (said little brother) is a lot of fun and we watched Dylan Moran and laughed. It made me happy :D

Lymene and Kelly are watching a documentary about the Earth and their commentary on the animals is hilarious. "I don't like him, he's ugly!" "My, what big eyes you have." "That is disgusting, Kelly. Yeah, but fish can't help it..." "Bam HE ATE YOU HAHAHA!" They're pretty in to it!

I have been reading all these things about the Celtic Morrigan because I need to complete her bio for FG. I love Celtic mythology. It's all turning into animals and screaming ghosts and blood blood blood. Awesome.

Jayann might come to New Zealand in January I hope I hope I hope because we would have SO much fun. She's brilliant. I love having a friend I can be around after a year of being on the other side of the planet and when I am here it's like we weren't apart at all.

And she makes me like by saying things like "This is a brine shaman. He makes pickles" and "wrath of rats, ooooh!" about her magic cards.

Oh and quoting Mean Girls with my nephew is AWESOME.
