Aarrrggghhhhhstudentloans.

I don't know what's happening. My lender says "hey, you'll have to make repayments soon!" which isn't TRUE BECAUSE I AM STILL ENROLLED and trying to get a loan this year and now the loan lady is on leave until May (to be fair to her, she is lovely and I hope she has a lovely break!).

Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress. Don't vomit from stress.

Yeah, that oughta do it.

some lenders do that automatically at the end of the term, assuming that the student will not enroll for a new term. once they have confirmation that you have enrolled again, it goes back into deferred status.

I used to work for Sallie Mae granting Student Loans and this happened all.the.time. So try not to stress too much- still check on it to be sure but it's probably just an automatic thing.

I could kiss you right now. Thank you so much for telling me that. It will keep me from becoming a cesspool of worry until May when I can talk to the loan lady. I will check, but thank you thank you! :D
