Okay, Helena. You win. Sometimes you are absolutely gorgeous.

Spent yesterday watching scary movies with Alina and eating her AMAZING RISOTTO DEAR GOD. I had some more today and it was niiiceeee :D Said movie experience was made richer by the aftershocks giving a real scare that felt like it moved the couches we were sitting on. My goodness.

I made an apple cake while I waited for my girls to come home, but I think it's not quite right. It got all hard. Wah. I hope it's okay but I am ascared to try it! It looks lovely though! Here's hoping.

My girls will be home in about two hours and I am so happy. I miss them :(

Sounds like the brownie I made the other day. It tastes fine, it's just somewhat reminiscent of volcanic rock (hard and crumbly). I guess next time I should check whether we have eggs before I start baking. :P

That photo is really beautiful (as are you).

I think the eggs were small and next time I should use three. I tasted it and it's lovely, just not as moist as it should be. Learning curves, ahoy!

Awww, THANK YOU! You're beautiful too :D

That is a lovely photo. The cake might have softened if you wrap it up in foil or plastic while it is still warm and wait a bit. I speak from experience. >.>
