Riding through a rainy, morning Melbourne while listening to Phantom of the Opera at maximum volume?

Awesome.

And if I hadn't been on a tram I'da been doin' my awesome Sarah Brightman impression. I didn't, however, think the other morningites needed to hear it, even if I do rock a Brightman impression ;)

"LET THE DREAM BEGIN, LET YOUR DARKER SIDE GIVE IN TO THE POWER OF THE MUSIC THAT I WRITEEEEEEEE! THE POWER OF THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT MORN!"

Yeah, you sing it Phanty. ILY. SRSLY ♥

"YOU ALONE CAN MAKE MY SONG TAKE FLIGHT! HELP ME MAKE THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT MORN!"

Aaaand I'm done :D

It was never her incredibly obvious talent I took exception to ;) Because MAN she can belt it.

And Emmy Rossum never stood a chance HOMG.

I love her Gloomy Sunday. It's, like, my favourite version. GUH.

(And how excited am I that the new Emilie CD has the proper version of her singing that? VERY. ohilovethatsong.)

I AM TRYING TO WRITE PETER BEING TORTURED BY SILENCE BUT I CANNOT STOP LISTENING TO PHANTOM AND THAT IS NOT SILENCE!

It's distracting me and I feel it would be inapporptate to have Peter break out the showtunes while he's captive, even if he would kick arse at Phantom (omg) though he's more of a Raoul, rangily speaking. I think that's Phantom hair though.... *cackles*

"Peter was surrounded by darkness HE'S THERE, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERAAAAAA and even the smallest sound startled him SING FOR MEEEEEEE" Baaaahhhhh humbug :D

CURSE YOU, ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, YOU ARE MUCKING WITH MY PROCESS!

It should go like this. "Peter was sick of the silence surrounding him. It was palpable and terrifying. And so he burst into the chorus of the HMS Pinafore. That would keep the silence at bay for at least several hours. He followed this with the works of Sondheim, Webber, and Schönberg until the Templar were driven mad by the constant barrage of show tunes. He really was the Antichrist. No one could torture them with musicals like this and be a mere human. However, it was too much to bear, and they turned him loose rather and submit to more of the torment."

HAHAHA oh I love me.

hey, emmy rossum did just FINE. yes, brightman is WAY better, but be fair.

I AM being fair. I never said she sucked, I said she never stood a chance.

It's true. She couldn't hold a candle to Sarah Brightman's talent and I hate Sarah Brightman! Emmy was fine. There was just nothing outstanding about her.

Don't get me started on Gerard whatevers as the Phantom. NO. NO. I love him but NO.
