Date: 2009-09-20 11:11 am (UTC)I'm a pretty big fan of Mr. Carroll's work, and frankly I'm a bit wary of this film. Alice in Wonderland was a big part of my childhood and Mr. Burton has a habit of bringing in idiots who only like the movie for a pretty face or two. While Mr. Depp may be a wellspring of talent and taste, the Hatter is not the main character. Alice is. I fear that new fans will forget that in favor of OMGHESOPRETTY.
